Requirements

  • Trellix (formerly McAfee) Agent (required if you are installing the Privilege Management client with Trellix).

Issues resolved

  • Resolved an issue with incorrect grammar in our Deadline reached product notification.
  • Resolved an issue where the device enrollment would not work due to the cfprefsd process caching values after EPM-M was uninstalled which required a device restart.
  • Resolved an issue where attempting to run a binary or application that contains an accented character within the file path, such as an umlaut, etc (ie ü, î, é, and so on) would fail to run with EPM-M installed.
  • Resolved an issue where applications that use the Sparkle self updater framework could not be controlled by EPM-M policy rule during the upgrade of applications.
  • Resolved an issue where there was a noticeable performance impact within Terminal for machines with users tied to AD groups and policy workstyle account filtering was enabled.
  • Resolved an issue where third party System Preferences panes that use the legacyloader process could not be controlled by EPM-M policy rules.
