DescriptionResolution
Vulnerability fix for our Installables Monitor component that assists with application install for EPM-M.Updated the component to prevent relative file paths from being evaluated when attempting to install or remove applications with EPM-M. We will only use direct file paths during policy evaluation.
EPM policy filtering was delayed in detecting users being added into the Admin user group. The EPM-M Group Cache was not being cleared when users are added to the Administrator group.
Package installers with multiple referenced packages can suddenly close during installation with EPM-M installed. This was due to EPM-M not storing the internal package references when attempting to run the package.

Compatibility:

  • Endpoint Privilege Management Policy Editor 24.8
  • Endpoint Privilege Management ePO Extension 22.8
  • Endpoint Privilege Management Console Adapter 24.8
  • BeyondInsight/Password Safe 24.2.1
  • Trellix Agent 5.7

macOS Compatibility

  • macOS 13 Ventura
  • macOS 14 Sonoma
  • macOS 15 Sequoia
